Thinking about the e-assessment journey- the timeline

Still on the theme of e-assessment I think when looking at any system or solution taking a view across the whole timeline is important. These are the stages I thought of- have I missed any? My impression is that different system have different strengths at various points.

  • Setting assignment
  • Plagiarism detection
  • Submitting assignment
  • Tracking submissions
  • Opportunities for self and peer assessment
  • Marking of assignments
  • Moderation
  • Giving feedback & grades
  • Grades for exam boards
  • External examiners
  • Analysis of data
